  • Native Forge/NeoForge port.
  • Adjust slack on a per-chain basis by right-clicking with Shears.
  • Added new config options to disable chain collisions and increased max chain length.
  • You can now punch knots directly to break them.
  • Knots break instantly instead of waiting a couple seconds.
  • Using Shears to break knots now reduces its durability.
  • Safer knot discarding, should fix issues with knots across chunk borders.
  • Additional safety checks for collision entities on dedicated servers.

Comment installer Reconnectible Chains

With Millida Launcher

  1. Install Millida Launcher

The launcher is free: download it at millida.net/launcher and sign in with any nickname.

  2. Click “Install” on this page

The launcher opens and installs the mod for Minecraft 1.21.1–26.3 on Fabric or NeoForge automatically, together with its dependencies: YetAnotherConfigLib (YACL), Fabric API.

  3. Launch the game

A profile with it appears in the launcher: click “Play”.

Manually

  1. Install Fabric or NeoForge

The loader must match the game version of the mod file, for example Minecraft 26.3. After installing it, a separate profile appears in your launcher.

  2. Download the file for your version

In the version list above, pick the file connectiblechains-2.4.4+26.3-neoforge.jar (252 KB) for your game version and loader.

  3. Put it in the mods folder

The folder is inside .minecraft (Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\mods). If it does not exist, create it. Required dependencies go there too: YetAnotherConfigLib (YACL), Fabric API.

  4. Launch the loader profile

Open “Mods” in the main menu: Reconnectible Chains should be in the list.

On a server

  1. A server on Fabric or NeoForge

The mod only works on a server with the same loader and game version, for example 26.3.

  2. File goes into the server’s mods folder

Stop the server, put the mod file into the mods folder and start the server again.

  3. Use the “To server” button

On Millida Hosting, the button at the top of the page uploads the file to your server and restarts it for you.
