This mod is purely a library mod and should be included in any mods that use it. The only reason you should need to install this mod is if you need to force your game to use a specific version.

About
This doesn't add anything directly - instead this adds 3 base packages that mods can use to transfer items and fluids between blocks.
Quick overview (for developers):
Attributes: These are available on blocks that implement "IAttributeBlock"
Item and fluid management are both based around 5 similar attribute classes: ItemFixedInvView, ItemFixedInv, ItemInvStats, ItemInsertable, and ItemExtractable.

The launcher opens and installs the mod for Minecraft 1.15.1–1.21 on Fabric or Forge automatically.
Launch the game
A profile with it appears in the launcher: click “Play”.
Manually
Install Fabric or Forge
The loader must match the game version of the mod file, for example Minecraft 1.21. After installing it, a separate profile appears in your launcher.
Download the file for your version
In the version list above, pick the file libblockattributes-all-0.16.0-pre.2.jar (479 KB) for your game version and loader.
Put it in the mods folder
The folder is inside .minecraft (Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\mods). If it does not exist, create it.
Launch the loader profile
Open “Mods” in the main menu: Lib Block Attributes should be in the list.
Minecraft 1.21 runs on Java 21: with a different Java version the game may close right after launch.

There are files for 1.21, 1.18.1, 1.18, 1.16.5, 1.16.4, 1.15.1. The newest is 1.21.
Is Lib Block Attributes for Forge or Fabric?
There are files for Fabric: 1.18–1.21 and for Forge: 1.15.1. There are no files for NeoForge: a mod for another loader will not start.
