À propos du mod Lavender

The landing page of a Lavender book

Lavender is tool allowing modders, modpack makers and everybody else to create player guides and other in-game documentation in the form of easy-to-read, intuitive guide books.

Everything is written using easy to learn, familiar and, most importantly, readable markdown with a bunch of special syntax to seamlessly integrate with the game. This is augmented with support for powerful macros and the entirety of the owo-ui framework at your fingertips

Further, for the first time in any guidebook mod (we believe), all books can be viewed in-game when placed in the offhand - extremely useful for referencing an entry while carrying out its instructions

Comment installer Lavender

With Millida Launcher

  1. Install Millida Launcher

The launcher is free: download it at millida.net/launcher and sign in with any nickname.

  2. Click “Install” on this page

The launcher opens and installs the mod for Minecraft 1.21–1.21.4 on Fabric or Quilt automatically, together with its dependencies: oωo (owo-lib).

  3. Launch the game

A profile with it appears in the launcher: click “Play”.

Manually

  1. Install Fabric or Quilt

The loader must match the game version of the mod file, for example Minecraft 1.21.4. After installing it, a separate profile appears in your launcher.

  2. Download the file for your version

In the version list above, pick the file lavender-0.1.15+1.21.4.jar (535 KB) for your game version and loader.

  3. Put it in the mods folder

The folder is inside .minecraft (Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\mods). If it does not exist, create it. Required dependencies go there too: oωo (owo-lib).

  4. Launch the loader profile

Open “Mods” in the main menu: Lavender should be in the list.

On a server

  1. A server on Fabric or Quilt

The mod only works on a server with the same loader and game version, for example 1.21.4.

  2. File goes into the server’s mods folder

Stop the server, put the mod file into the mods folder and start the server again.

  3. Use the “To server” button

On Millida Hosting, the button at the top of the page uploads the file to your server and restarts it for you.

Minecraft 1.21.4 runs on Java 21: with a different Java version the game may close right after launch.

Is Lavender for Forge or Fabric?

There are files for Fabric: 1.21–1.21.4 and for Quilt: 1.21–1.21.4. There are no files for Forge or NeoForge: a mod for another loader will not start.
