📖Description
The Item Rename mod for Fabric Modloader allows players to edit various properties of items in the game, such as their name, lore, and enchantment glow. With support for color and formatting, you can personalize your items like a piece of cake.
This mod is heavily inspired by the plugin: EpicRename

/rename <name> Renames the item in hand. itemrename.rename
/setloreline <lineNumber> <text> Sets a certain line of lore on the item in hand. itemrename.lore
/addloreline <text> Adds a line of lore on the item in hand. itemrename.lore
/removeloreline <lineNumber> Remove a certain line of lore on the item in hand. itemrename.lore
/insertloreline <beforeLineNumber> <text> Insert a certain line of lore on the item in hand. itemrename.lore
/glow Adds an enchantment glow to the item in hand. itemrename.glow
/removeglow Removes the enchantment glow from the item. itemrename.glow
/removename Removes any custom name from the item in hand. itemrename.rename
/removelore Removes any custom lore from the item in hand. itemrename.lore
/lockitem Lock item edit, allowing only you to modify selected items. itemrename.lock
/unlockitem Unlock item edit, allowing everyone to modify selected items. itemrename.lock
- itemrename.admin: Allows bypassing lock check for item editing.
⚠️Additional Caution
If you did not install any permission manager mod (ex: LuckPerms) then the permission system will check for "Permission level":
- Player with permission level 1 can do all basic command
- Player with permission level 3 and above can bypass lock check for item editing
🔣Color and Format Support
The mod supports color and formatting using the EssentialsEX color format, with the prefix &.
With the version 1.1.0, mod now also support for hex color code, with the prefix: &#<hex color code> (Ex: TCFB, �, &#aabbcc)

The launcher is free: download it at millida.net/launcher and sign in with any nickname.
Click “Install” on this page
The launcher opens and installs the mod for Minecraft 26.2 on Fabric or Quilt automatically.
Launch the game
A profile with it appears in the launcher: click “Play”.
Manually
Install Fabric or Quilt
The loader must match the game version of the mod file, for example Minecraft 26.2. After installing it, a separate profile appears in your launcher.
Download the file for your version
In the version list above, pick the file item-rename-1.3.2+26.2.jar (221 KB) for your game version and loader.
Put it in the mods folder
The folder is inside .minecraft (Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\mods). If it does not exist, create it.
Launch the loader profile
Open “Mods” in the main menu: Item Rename should be in the list.

Which Minecraft versions does Item Rename work on?
Only Minecraft 26.2: there are no files for other versions.
Is Item Rename for Forge or Fabric?
There are files for Fabric: 26.2 and for Quilt: 26.2. There are no files for Forge or NeoForge: a mod for another loader will not start.
Does Item Rename need other mods?
The author lists no required dependencies: the Fabric or Quilt loader is enough.
