FastFurnace utilise des mixins pour modifier le fonctionnement du Four, du Haut fourneau et du Fumoir, améliorant leurs performances en TPS (pas la vitesse de cuisson !)
Semblable à FastWorkbench, il met en cache la dernière recette utilisée et vérifie cette recette en premier avant de parcourir à nouveau l'intégralité du registre. C'est nettement plus rapide, car le four vanilla parcourt tout le registre des fours à chaque tick, ce qui peut convenir en vanilla, mais dans un environnement moddé, celui-ci devient très volumineux très rapidement.
Ces changements s'appliquent au Four, au Haut fourneau et au Fumoir. Tout mod utilisant AbstractFurnaceTileEntity bénéficiera également des avantages de l'installation de ce mod.
Pour ceux qui aiment les chiffres, voici une comparaison Vanilla vs FastFurnace. Il s'agit de 9 fours cuisant chacun du cobblestone pendant toute la durée du test. Le nombre d'invocations est maintenu à peu près identique afin de ne pas fausser les chiffres. Ce test a été effectué en vanilla, qui ne compte qu'environ 70 recettes de four. Dans un modpack, il peut y en avoir jusqu'à 700, ce qui augmente considérablement le gain de performances.

Launch the game
A profile with it appears in the launcher: click “Play”.

Install Forge or NeoForge
The loader must match the game version of the mod file, for example Minecraft 26.1.2. After installing it, a separate profile appears in your launcher.
Download the file for your version
In the version list above, pick the file FastFurnace-26.1.2-10.0.0.jar (4 KB) for your game version and loader.
Put it in the mods folder
The folder is inside .minecraft (Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\mods). If it does not exist, create it.
Launch the loader profile
Open “Mods” in the main menu: FastFurnace should be in the list.

There are files for 26.1.2, 1.21.1, 1.20.1, 1.16.5, 1.16.4. The newest is 26.1.2.
Is FastFurnace for Forge or Fabric?
There are files for Forge: 1.20.1 and for NeoForge: 1.20.1–26.1.2. There are no files for Fabric: a mod for another loader will not start.
