Config Manager est un mod Minecraft qui permet aux développeurs de modpacks de fournir des fichiers de configuration de manière simple et conviviale. Il prend en charge NeoForge et Fabric, à partir de Minecraft 1.20.1 et versions ultérieures.
Fonctionnalités
Fournir les configurations par défaut du modpack sans écraser les préférences de l'utilisateur
- Placez les fichiers de configuration par défaut de votre modpack dans /config/modpackdefaults.
- Au démarrage, tous les fichiers de ce répertoire sont copiés dans le répertoire Minecraft uniquement s'ils n'existent pas déjà.
Exemples :
- .minecraft/config/modpackdefaults/options.txt → copié vers .minecraft/options.txt
- .minecraft/config/modpackdefaults/config/myMod.json → copié vers .minecraft/config/myMod.json
Cela garantit que les paramètres de l'utilisateur sont préservés lors des mises à jour du modpack.
Mettre à jour ou réinitialiser selon les valeurs par défaut du modpack
Depuis la liste des mods (NeoForge) ou Mod Menu (Fabric), vous pouvez ouvrir l'interface de Config Manager et choisir entre deux actions :
- Mettre à jour – Copie (en écrasant) les fichiers de configuration du modpack par-dessus ceux de l'utilisateur.
- Tous les paramètres modifiés par le pack sont mis à jour.
- Les paramètres non touchés restent tels que configurés par l'utilisateur.
- Réinitialiser – Efface tout le répertoire de configuration et le remplace par les fichiers fournis par le modpack.
- Utile pour réparer les installations cassées ou corrompues.

The launcher is free: download it at millida.net/launcher and sign in with any nickname.
Click “Install” on this page
The launcher opens and installs the mod for Minecraft 1.20.1–26.3 on Fabric, NeoForge or Quilt automatically.
Launch the game
A profile with it appears in the launcher: click “Play”.
Manually
Install Fabric, NeoForge or Quilt
The loader must match the game version of the mod file, for example Minecraft 26.3. After installing it, a separate profile appears in your launcher.
Download the file for your version
In the version list above, pick the file ConfigManager-neoforge-26.1_26.2-1.1.3.jar (148 KB) for your game version and loader.
Put it in the mods folder
The folder is inside .minecraft (Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\mods). If it does not exist, create it.
Launch the loader profile
Open “Mods” in the main menu: Config Manager should be in the list.
On a server
A server on Fabric, NeoForge or Quilt
The mod only works on a server with the same loader and game version, for example 26.3.
File goes into the server’s mods folder
Stop the server, put the mod file into the mods folder and start the server again.
Use the “To server” button

There are files for 1.20.1–26.3, 21 versions in total. The newest is 26.3.
Is Config Manager for Forge or Fabric?
There are files for Fabric: 1.20.1–26.3, for NeoForge: 1.21.9–26.3 and for Quilt: 1.20.1–26.3. There are no files for Forge: a mod for another loader will not start.
Does Config Manager need other mods?
