Modifie le comportement vanilla lors de la localisation de fonctionnalités pour qu'elles s'exécutent de manière asynchrone, atténuant ainsi le lag associé.
Ceci est actuellement implémenté pour :
- La commande Locate lorsqu'elle est exécutée par un utilisateur
- Les offres de commerce de cartes d'explorateur des villageois
- La recherche de trésors par les dauphins
- Les cartes d'exploration dans les coffres (v1.1.0+)
Ce mod n'a besoin d'être installé que côté serveur ! Les clients n'ont donc besoin de l'installer que s'ils le veulent pour le solo.
À lui seul, il ne fonctionne que pour le vanilla (voir la liste ci-dessus). D'autres mods peuvent avoir besoin d'implémenter l'utilisation de ce mod eux-mêmes pour profiter de la fonctionnalité asynchrone.
Incompatibilités
Les mods qui affectent les fonctionnalités de localisation de structures du vanilla peuvent impacter le fonctionnement d'Async Locator.

- Structure Essentials
Il a été observé qu'au démarrage, une seule des améliorations de localisation d'Async Locator ou de Structure Essentials fonctionnera. Aucun réel problème sinon, mais un seul des mods est nécessaire.
Intégration de mods
D'autres mods peuvent aussi utiliser Async Locators comme dépendance pour implémenter la localisation asynchrone dans leur propre code. Pour ce faire, veuillez utiliser CurseMaven ou Modrinth Maven pour ajouter ce mod à votre build.gradle, puis utiliser la classe AsyncLocator et/ou les classes de logique.

Install Millida Launcher
The launcher is free: download it at millida.net/launcher and sign in with any nickname.
Click “Install” on this page
The launcher opens and installs the mod for Minecraft 1.19.2–1.20.2 on Fabric or Forge automatically, together with its dependencies: Fabric API.
Launch the game
A profile with it appears in the launcher: click “Play”.
Manually
Install Fabric or Forge
The loader must match the game version of the mod file, for example Minecraft 1.20.2. After installing it, a separate profile appears in your launcher.
Download the file for your version
In the version list above, pick the file async-locator-forge-1.20-1.3.0.jar (259 KB) for your game version and loader.
Put it in the mods folder
The folder is inside .minecraft (Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\mods). If it does not exist, create it. Required dependencies go there too: Fabric API.
Launch the loader profile
Open “Mods” in the main menu: Async Locator should be in the list.
On a server
A server on Fabric or Forge
The mod only works on a server with the same loader and game version, for example 1.20.2.
File goes into the server’s mods folder
Stop the server, put the mod file into the mods folder and start the server again.
Use the “To server” button
On Millida Hosting, the button at the top of the page uploads the file to your server and restarts it for you.
Minecraft 1.20.2 runs on Java 17: with a different Java version the game may close right after launch.

There are files for 1.20.2, 1.20.1, 1.20, 1.19.4, 1.19.3, 1.19.2. The newest is 1.20.2.
Is Async Locator for Forge or Fabric?
There are files for Fabric: 1.19.2–1.20.2 and for Forge: 1.19.3–1.20.2. There are no files for NeoForge: a mod for another loader will not start.
What does Async Locator need to work?
Required: Fabric API. Without it the mod will not start: dependencies go into the same mods folder.
Do players need to install Async Locator?
No. Async Locator works on the server side: it is installed on the server only, and players do not need to download anything.
Which Java does Async Locator need?
