Armored Elytra
Description
A simple implementation of the classic idea of being able to combine a chestplate and elytra.
To craft an armored elytra just combine any chestplate with an elytra and a phantom membrane in a smithing table to bind them together.
You can download the [resource pack] to install the accompanying textures for this data pack.
Installation
- Download the [data pack] then drag and drop the ZIP file into the datapacks folder of the world that you would like to add this data pack to. For example %appdata%/.minecraft/saves/world/datapacks.
- Enable the data pack using /datapack enable "file/armored-elytra.zip".
- Optional: Install the accompanying [resource pack] by downloading the ZIP file, then drag and drop the file into your resourcepacks folder. For example %appdata%/.minecraft/resourcepacks.

Download the archive
Pick the file armored-elytra-1.4.2.zip (20 KB) for your game version.
New world: “Data Packs”
When creating a world, click “Data Packs”, drag the archive into the window, then move it to “Selected”.
Existing world: the datapacks folder
Put the archive into saves/<world>/datapacks and type /reload in game.
On a server
Archive goes into the server world’s datapacks
The world/datapacks folder on the server; players do not need to install anything.
Reload the data
Type /reload in the server console or restart the server.
Use the “To server” button
On Millida Hosting, the button at the top of the page uploads the file to your server and restarts it for you.
