Monster heads in Minecraft

Heads of Minecraft monsters and mobs: zombies, skeletons, creepers, bosses and otherworldly creatures. A ready /give command for every head — paste it into server chat and decorate a dungeon, arena or horror map.

FAQ

How are monster heads different from vanilla ones?

Vanilla heads (zombie, skeleton, creeper, dragon) drop in the game, while custom monster heads are unique community textures you can only get with the /give command.

How do I get this head in Minecraft?

Pick a head in the grid and copy the /give command — paste it into chat on a server where you have operator rights (/op). The head appears in your inventory. In singleplayer, commands work with cheats enabled.

Why doesn't the head command work?

It is almost always the version. In 1.20.5–1.21 a head is given with the profile component, in 1.16–1.20.4 with the NBT SkullOwner where the UUID is written as an array of numbers [I;…], in 1.13–1.15 with the same SkullOwner but a string UUID, and in 1.8–1.12 the item is called skull with damage 3. Pick your version in the “Game version” filter — the commands in the list will rebuild. And check that you have permission to use /give.
