Explorer's Compass is an item that allows you to locate structures anywhere in the world. If you're looking for a compass that can locate biomes, check out Natures's Compass.
Features
- Right-click with the Explorer's Compass to open a GUI through which you can select a structure or group of structures to search for
- Shift-right-click to reset the compass state
- Information about a structure search is displayed on the HUD
- When the compass is not pointing at a structure, it will point at the world spawn
- Supports all registered structures, both vanilla and modded
- Adjust properties like maximum search radius and blacklisted structures in the config file

Click “Install” on this page
The launcher opens and installs the mod for Minecraft 1.18.2–26.3 on Fabric, Forge or NeoForge automatically.
Launch the game
A profile with it appears in the launcher: click “Play”.

Install Fabric, Forge or NeoForge
The loader must match the game version of the mod file, for example Minecraft 26.3. After installing it, a separate profile appears in your launcher.
Download the file for your version
In the version list above, pick the file ExplorersCompass-26.3-3.3.2-neoforge.jar (169 KB) for your game version and loader.
Put it in the mods folder
The folder is inside .minecraft (Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\mods). If it does not exist, create it.
Launch the loader profile
Open “Mods” in the main menu: Explorer's Compass should be in the list.

The mod only works on a server with the same loader and game version, for example 26.3.

Stop the server, put the mod file into the mods folder and start the server again.
