Über die Dungeons Libraries-Mod

The library mod for the Dungeons Suite.

Features

Builtin Enchantments

Armor and weapons can be given builtin enchantments. These builtin enchantments are treated like an actual enchantment, but can not be taken off using conventional means. They also have the capability of breaking the level limit of enchantments for 1 piece of equipment. No way to actually add builtin enchantments is added here. Other mods should provide their own systems for builtin enchantments. The primary user for this will be Dungeons Gear, which will utilise this system for armors and gilded enchants.

Summoning

Mobs and items can summon creatures. The summoning/summoner capability allows to maintain these relationships. The mod also provides additional helper methods to handle various game systems, like damage and target selecting.

Ability Helper

An ability helper is added, to create more power when selecting a target. These help determine if a mob or player is a potential target. Primarily used by the AoEHelper.

Area of Effect (AoE) Helper

This helper provides several helper methods that allow for quickly applying a piece of code to specific targets within a set distance. Specific features include:

  • Limiting the number of targets
  • Blockpos Origin or LivingEntity Origin.
  • Distance calculations

Installation von Dungeons Libraries

With Millida Launcher

  1. Install Millida Launcher

The launcher is free: download it at millida.net/launcher and sign in with any nickname.

  2. Click “Install” on this page

The launcher opens and installs the mod for Minecraft 1.16.5–1.19.2 on Forge automatically.

  3. Launch the game

A profile with it appears in the launcher: click “Play”.

Manually

  1. Install Forge

The loader must match the game version of the mod file, for example Minecraft 1.19.2. After installing it, a separate profile appears in your launcher.

  2. Download the file for your version

In the version list above, pick the file dungeons_libraries-1.19.2-3.0.12-beta-all.jar (769 KB) for your game version.

  3. Put it in the mods folder

The folder is inside .minecraft (Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\mods). If it does not exist, create it.

  4. Launch the loader profile

Open “Mods” in the main menu: Dungeons Libraries should be in the list.

Minecraft 1.19.2 runs on Java 17: with a different Java version the game may close right after launch.

FAQ

Which Minecraft versions does Dungeons Libraries work on?

There are files for 1.19.2, 1.16.5. The newest is 1.19.2.

Is Dungeons Libraries for Forge or Fabric?

Only for Forge: 1.19.2. There are no files for Fabric or NeoForge: a mod for another loader will not start.

Does Dungeons Libraries need other mods?

The author lists no required dependencies: the Forge loader is enough.

Which Java does Dungeons Libraries need?

Minecraft 1.19.2 runs on Java 17. If the game closes right after launch, the usual cause is the wrong Java version in the profile settings.

Where can I download Dungeons Libraries safely?
