All credit for the underlying rendering pipeline, lighting model, and shader architecture belongs to the original authors. SenAbyssShader would not exist without their work.
MODIFICATIONS
This pack is noticeably different from the original Complementary Unbound. Changes include:
- Custom fog detection and rolling weather transitions tuned for horror atmosphere (WIP)
- Modified darkness handling for the Sensory Abyss "True Darkness" system
- Adjusted eerie/dread visual effects integrated with the mod's sanity system
- Per-dimension atmosphere tuning
- Various color, bloom, and lightshaft adjustments for the mod's intended mood
- Smoothstep-based shader gates replacing several hard cutoffs
LICENSE
SenAbyssShader is distributed under the same license as Complementary Unbound. The full original license (License.txt) is included inside the shader pack zip and is unmodified.
No alternative license terms are imposed. All redistribution, modification, and usage rights are governed solely by the original Complementary license.
INTENDED USE
Designed to accompany the Sensory Abyss mod. Works as a standalone shader pack but is tuned around the mod's horror systems.
Requires Embeddium and Oculus.

With Millida Launcher
Install Millida Launcher
The launcher is free: download it at millida.net/launcher and sign in with any nickname.
Click “Install” on this page
The launcher opens and installs the shaders for Minecraft 1.20.1–1.21.1 automatically.
Launch the game
A profile with it appears in the launcher: click “Play”.
Manually
Install Iris or OptiFine
Without a shader mod the game cannot see shaders. Install it for the same Minecraft version.
Download the shader archive
Pick the file SenAbyssShader4.0.zip (622 KB) and do not unpack it.
Put it in the shaderpacks folder
“Options”, then “Video Settings”, then “Shader Packs”, then “Open Shader Pack Folder”, and drag the archive there.
Select the shaders
In the same window, click the pack name and “Apply”.
