About Chococraft

This mod adds a mob called Chocobo to the game. This includes different colored mob types with different attributes in their grown-up and juvenile form.
The most basic type can be found in the wild and can be tamed by using "Gysahl Greens" on them. Gysahl Greens is a plant found in the wild, but also can be planted by sowing Gysahl Seeds. Gysahl Seeds can be received by crafting from Gysahl Greens or by harvesting planted Gysahl Greens.
Chocobos can be breed and procreate. The offspring will be a Chicobo, the juvenile form of a Chocobo. After a while a Chicobo will grow into a Chocobo. Chicobos will be born wild and have to be tamed. Chicobos will inherit the type from one of their parents or mutate into new types. Thus by repeatedly breeding Chocobos all normal types of Chocobos can be acquired from tamed wild Chocobos. There are a few special Chocobo types though, which can only be acquired by special means.

Install Millida Launcher
The launcher is free: download it at millida.net/launcher and sign in with any nickname.
Click “Install” on this page
The launcher opens and installs the mod for Minecraft 1.12.1–1.12.2 on Forge automatically.
Launch the game
A profile with it appears in the launcher: click “Play”.
Manually
Install Forge
The loader must match the game version of the mod file, for example Minecraft 1.12.2. After installing it, a separate profile appears in your launcher.
Download the file for your version
In the version list above, pick the file chococraft_1.12.1-0.9.1.52.jar (401 KB) for your game version.
Put it in the mods folder
The folder is inside .minecraft (Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\mods). If it does not exist, create it.
Launch the loader profile
Open “Mods” in the main menu: Chococraft should be in the list.
On a server
A server on Forge
The mod only works on a server with the same loader and game version, for example 1.12.2.
File goes into the server’s mods folder
Stop the server, put the mod file into the mods folder and start the server again.
Use the “To server” button
On Millida Hosting, the button at the top of the page uploads the file to your server and restarts it for you.
Minecraft 1.12.2 runs on Java 8: with a different Java version the game may close right after launch.

Which Minecraft versions does Chococraft work on?
There are files for 1.12.2, 1.12.1. The newest is 1.12.2.
Is Chococraft for Forge or Fabric?
Only for Forge: 1.12.1–1.12.2. There are no files for Fabric or NeoForge: a mod for another loader will not start.
Does Chococraft need other mods?
The author lists no required dependencies: the Forge loader is enough.
Does Chococraft work on a server?
Yes. Chococraft works both in singleplayer and on a server.
Which Java does Chococraft need?
