Ars Technica modu hakkında

... is a content addon mod. What Ars Creo does for integration, Ars Technica suppliments with addition; it adds a bunch of (mostly Create-related) Glyphs, tools and a new Armor Set. Ultimately Ars Technica aims to allow you to manually execute different transmutation type recipes (crushing, pressing, polishing etc.) via glyphs, on the spot, to complement your automatic factory. Scroll down for further information.

Dependencies

You need Ars Nouveau, Curios and Create to use this mod.

1.20.1 specifics

Your Forge version should be at least 47.3.30

Ars Elemental is required

Recommendations

  • Starbunclemania (optional recipe added)
  • Ars Elemental (optional in 1.21, installing adds a recipe)
  • Ars Creo
  • Enchantment Industry
  • Brassified
  • Etched (optional recipe in 1.21)

Armor Set

Glyphs

Other glyphs:

  • Pack: Condenses identical items, crafting them into 2x2 recipes. Augment for 3x3, Dampen for 1x1
  • Carve: Shapes identical items, crafting them into stairs. Augment for walls, Dampen for slabs
  • Insert: Inserts nearby items into nearby containers in a medium radius where this spell is activated. The range may be expanded with AOE, and Split will distribute items evenly. Using item frames for filters, like with Starbuncles, is supported.
  • Polish: Refines items into their polished variants (sandpaper polishing)
  • Telefeast: Consumes the first edible/potion, or some amount of liquid, found in the container/tank this was cast on. Can be tweaked to work differently.

Equipment/other

  • Runic Spanner: An upgrade to the Wrench from Create. This will allow you to set the cooldown for Runes and Relays by right-clicking on them, as well as picking up turrets, pedestals and containment jars by shift-right-clicking.
  • Thread of Pressure: Gives the same capabilities as wearing a (Create) back tank would. Refills air over time * Spy Monocle: A minified version of the Spyglass which can be worn on the Head curio slot. Uses the same hotkey as the Alchemist's Crown (G by default).
  • Focus of Transmutation: which increases Luck, improves Whirl processing speed and doubles chance-based item outputs from Haunting and Washing
  • Source Motor: Converts source to kinetic energy. You can set the RPM which scales with the source consumption - along with a SU-to-RPM ratio which also affects source consumption.
  • pocket_factory: A music disc that can be found in simple dungeons.
  • New XP gems: of size 48xp and 192xp
  • Liquid source heated mixing recipe: only when starbunclemania is installed (optional)

Development

Active development is currently for 1.21.1

1.20.1 only gets critical bug fixes at this point, no new features

With Millida Launcher

  1. Install Millida Launcher

The launcher is free: download it at millida.net/launcher and sign in with any nickname.

  2. Click “Install” on this page

The launcher opens and installs the mod for Minecraft 1.20.1–1.21.1 on Forge or NeoForge automatically.

  3. Launch the game

A profile with it appears in the launcher: click “Play”.

Manually

  1. Install Forge or NeoForge

The loader must match the game version of the mod file, for example Minecraft 1.21.1. After installing it, a separate profile appears in your launcher.

  2. Download the file for your version

In the version list above, pick the file ars_technica-1.21.1-2.7.0-beta.jar (3.3 MB) for your game version and loader.

  3. Put it in the mods folder

The folder is inside .minecraft (Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\mods). If it does not exist, create it.

  4. Launch the loader profile

Open “Mods” in the main menu: Ars Technica should be in the list.

Minecraft 1.21.1 runs on Java 21: with a different Java version the game may close right after launch.

SSS

Which Minecraft versions does Ars Technica work on?

There are files for 1.21.1, 1.21, 1.20.1. The newest is 1.21.1.

Is Ars Technica for Forge or Fabric?

There are files for Forge: 1.20.1 and for NeoForge: 1.21–1.21.1. There are no files for Fabric: a mod for another loader will not start.

Does Ars Technica need other mods?

The author lists no required dependencies: the Forge or NeoForge loader is enough.

Which Java does Ars Technica need?

Minecraft 1.21.1 runs on Java 21. If the game closes right after launch, the usual cause is the wrong Java version in the profile settings.

How do I download Ars Technica?

With Millida Launcher: it installs Ars Technica into a modpack by itself, for the right game version and loader. The launcher is free.
