Frostbite

Frostbite is a Minecraft server with eternal winter, where the main goal is to survive until morning.

Here, familiar survival becomes a struggle against the cold. Insulate your armor, build a warm shelter, and prepare supplies before heading out. Water, altitude, and blizzards speed up cooling, and every mistake can cost one of your three lives.

A home that saves you from the frost

Building walls is not enough: the house needs to be heated and its warmth preserved. Open doors, hatches, and openings let it escape outside. At the same time, furnaces, smokers, and campfires produce smoke - you will have to plan an outlet for it so it does not accumulate inside.

Survival in the details

In the frost, food freezes, and in the heat it spoils. A thermal bag will help preserve your supplies, and a smoker will thaw frozen food. Crops also need protection from the cold: torches alone are not enough for your harvest.

New ores and exploring the depths

Explore frozen mines, mine cryolite, magmatite, and titanium, craft new tools and armor. Progression requires preparation: underground you will encounter stone ice and deep ice, which require tools made from new materials to mine.

Three lives - and gameplay after death

Each death takes away one life. After the third, you become a ghost: you can fly, open doors, hatches, and chests, and use levers. But interacting with the world briefly makes you visible and vulnerable to arrows. Flight drains health, while actions restore it - though too frequent interactions weaken the ghost.

At the place of death, a death marker appears with part of your resources. Over time it becomes more dangerous, so returning for what you lost can turn into a new trial.
