No More Brightness is a minimal Minecraft Iris shaderpack that makes the game slightly darker without changing the vanilla style too much.
Minecraft daytime can be very bright, especially when playing at night or in a dark room. This shaderpack lowers the overall brightness so the screen feels less harsh, while still keeping Minecraft natural, simple, and easy to recognize.

Installation
- Install Iris.
- Download the shaderpack ZIP.
- Put the ZIP file in your .minecraft/shaderpacks folder.
- Open Minecraft.
- Go to Options > Video Settings > Shader Packs.
- Select No More Brightness.
Compatibility
This shaderpack is made for the Iris shader loader.
It is designed to be simple and lightweight. It does not add PBR textures, bloom, custom shadows, reflections, or extra effects.

With Millida Launcher
Install Millida Launcher
The launcher is free: download it at millida.net/launcher and sign in with any nickname.
Click “Install” on this page
The launcher opens and installs the shaders for Minecraft 26.1–26.2 automatically, together with its dependencies: Iris Shaders.
Launch the game
A profile with it appears in the launcher: click “Play”.
Manually
Install Iris
Without a shader mod the game cannot see shaders. Install it for the same Minecraft version.
Download the shader archive
Pick the file No-More-Brightness-1.0.0.zip (29 KB) and do not unpack it.
Put it in the shaderpacks folder
“Options”, then “Video Settings”, then “Shader Packs”, then “Open Shader Pack Folder”, and drag the archive there.
Select the shaders
In the same window, click the pack name and “Apply”.
