About the Omnilib mod

Omnilib has been deprecated. Any mods that currently use it are not affected and can continue to do so, however this mod or the wiki will never be updated again.

Getting Started

If a mod requires Omnilib, follow these steps to install it:

  • Download the correct version of the mod from this page.
  • Place the downloaded JAR file in your Minecraft mods folder.
  • Launch Minecraft!

Note: If you are on Fabric, Fabric API is required. If you are on (Neo)Forge, Sinytra Connector & Forgified Fabric API are required.

How to install Omnilib

With Millida Launcher

  1. Install Millida Launcher

The launcher is free: download it at millida.net/launcher and sign in with any nickname.

  2. Click “Install” on this page

The launcher opens and installs the mod for Minecraft 1.19.2–1.21.5 on Fabric automatically.

  3. Launch the game

A profile with it appears in the launcher: click “Play”.

Manually

  1. Install Fabric

The loader must match the game version of the mod file, for example Minecraft 1.21.5. After installing it, a separate profile appears in your launcher.

  2. Download the file for your version

In the version list above, pick the file omnilib-0.1.4+1.21.5.jar (248 KB) for your game version.

  3. Put it in the mods folder

The folder is inside .minecraft (Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\mods). If it does not exist, create it.

  4. Launch the loader profile

Open “Mods” in the main menu: Omnilib should be in the list.

On a server

  1. A server on Fabric

The mod only works on a server with the same loader and game version, for example 1.21.5.

  2. File goes into the server’s mods folder

Stop the server, put the mod file into the mods folder and start the server again.

  3. Use the “To server” button

On Millida Hosting, the button at the top of the page uploads the file to your server and restarts it for you.

Minecraft 1.21.5 runs on Java 21: with a different Java version the game may close right after launch.

FAQ

Which Minecraft versions does Omnilib work on?

There are files for 1.19.2–1.21.5, 9 versions in total. The newest is 1.21.5.

Is Omnilib for Forge or Fabric?

Only for Fabric: 1.19.2–1.21.5. There are no files for Forge or NeoForge: a mod for another loader will not start.

Does Omnilib need other mods?

The author lists no required dependencies: the Fabric loader is enough.

Does Omnilib work on a server?

Yes. Omnilib works both in singleplayer and on a server.

Which Java does Omnilib need?

Minecraft 1.21.5 runs on Java 21. If the game closes right after launch, the usual cause is the wrong Java version in the profile settings.

Where can I download Omnilib safely?

On this page: the file omnilib-0.1.4+1.21.5.jar (248 KB) is stored on Millida’s server, with no link shorteners. SHA-1 checksum: f4bc2e60d61ed0f51679b60d9a059a9e197f46b5.
