NoExpensive
NoExpensive is a Minecraft mod that removes the anvil's expensive restrictions and allows compatibility between any enchantments. It is designed to be lightweight, highly compatible, and easy to configure for both modern and legacy Minecraft versions.

This mod uses the MineConf for configuration.

Config - Description
max_level - The maximum repair cost level (default: 39). Set to 0 for auto calculation. combine_higher - Enable or disable combining higher-level enchantments (default: false). compatibility - Allow two enchantments to be compatible.
Default Compatibilities
- Mending and Infinity are compatible by default.
- Multishot and Piercing are compatible by default.
- Sharpness, Smite, and Bane of Arthropods are mutually compatible by default.
- Protection, Projectile Protection, Blast Protection, and Fire Protection are mutually compatible by
default.
Compatibility
- Supports a wide range of Minecraft versions (see folders for specific support).
- Designed for Fabric mod loader, but may work with others if compatible.
- For legacy versions (1.7.x and below), enchantment IDs are numbers, not strings.
Legacy Version Notes
- In 1.7.x and below, the compatibility config uses numeric enchantment IDs instead of string names due to how
enchantments are registered in those versions.

How to install NoExpensive
With Millida Launcher
Install Millida Launcher
The launcher is free: download it at millida.net/launcher and sign in with any nickname.
Click “Install” on this page
The launcher opens and installs the mod for Minecraft 1.7.10–26.3 on Fabric automatically, together with its dependencies: Dependency, Fabric Language Kotlin, Fabric API.
Launch the game
A profile with it appears in the launcher: click “Play”.
Manually
Install Fabric
The loader must match the game version of the mod file, for example Minecraft 26.3. After installing it, a separate profile appears in your launcher.
Download the file for your version
In the version list above, pick the file NoExpensive-26.3-1.11.1.jar (45 KB) for your game version.
Put it in the mods folder
The folder is inside .minecraft (Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\mods). If it does not exist, create it. Required dependencies go there too: Dependency, Fabric Language Kotlin, Fabric API.
Launch the loader profile
Open “Mods” in the main menu: NoExpensive should be in the list.
On a server
A server on Fabric
The mod only works on a server with the same loader and game version, for example 26.3.
File goes into the server’s mods folder
Stop the server, put the mod file into the mods folder and start the server again.
Use the “To server” button
On Millida Hosting, the button at the top of the page uploads the file to your server and restarts it for you.
