About the Home Camp mod

Sneak+Right Click a campfire to make it your respawn point. By default, the campfire must be lit and will extinguish when you spawn, but there are config options to change this. You can also use the config to make this only work with Soul Campfires. This can be run on the server without being installed on the client, but players with it installed on the client will see an improved message if they respawn and their spawn point is destroyed or blocked.

Adds protection from mob spawns in a radius around lit campfires (32 blocks by default, can be configured or disabled)

Forge: Requires Annotated DI (Forge) and Fireplace Lib (Forge) Fabric: Requires Fireplace Lib

How to install Home Camp

With Millida Launcher

  1. Install Millida Launcher

The launcher is free: download it at millida.net/launcher and sign in with any nickname.

  2. Click “Install” on this page

The launcher opens and installs the mod for Minecraft 1.19 on Fabric, Forge or Quilt automatically.

  3. Launch the game

A profile with it appears in the launcher: click “Play”.

Manually

  1. Install Fabric, Forge or Quilt

The loader must match the game version of the mod file, for example Minecraft 1.19. After installing it, a separate profile appears in your launcher.

  2. Download the file for your version

In the version list above, pick the file Home-Camp-Fabric-2.2.2+1.19.jar (79 KB) for your game version and loader.

  3. Put it in the mods folder

The folder is inside .minecraft (Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\mods). If it does not exist, create it.

  4. Launch the loader profile

Open “Mods” in the main menu: Home Camp should be in the list.

Minecraft 1.19 runs on Java 17: with a different Java version the game may close right after launch.

FAQ

Which Minecraft versions does Home Camp work on?

Only Minecraft 1.19: there are no files for other versions.

Is Home Camp for Forge or Fabric?

There are files for Fabric: 1.19, for Forge: 1.19 and for Quilt: 1.19. There are no files for NeoForge: a mod for another loader will not start.

Does Home Camp need other mods?

The author lists no required dependencies: the Fabric, Forge or Quilt loader is enough.

Which Java does Home Camp need?

Minecraft 1.19 runs on Java 17. If the game closes right after launch, the usual cause is the wrong Java version in the profile settings.

Where can I download Home Camp safely?

On this page: the file Home-Camp-Fabric-2.2.2+1.19.jar (79 KB) is stored on Millida’s server, with no link shorteners. SHA-1 checksum: 61e7bf554b7a40246e824e28641090d39df3be1c.
