Carpenter's Blocks
Serving you since 2013, this mod is the ultimate builders tool when needing to create spectacular structures. Ordinary blocks like sand, dirt, and planks are used to cover this mod's blocks. Carpenter's blocks mimic whichever block you cover them with, but in entirely new shapes! This allows you to break free from blocks that have static styles and shapes, and to create a truly customized look.
The mod draws inspiration from many sources, including SuperSlopes and Dawn of the Modern World, while also adding unique new features to vanilla blocks you all know and love. An exhaustive list of available options is available in the tutorial section of the official website.

The launcher is free: download it at millida.net/launcher and sign in with any nickname.
Click “Install” on this page
The launcher opens and installs the mod for Minecraft 1.7.10 automatically.
Launch the game
A profile with it appears in the launcher: click “Play”.

Download the file for your version
In the version list above, pick the file Carpenter's Blocks v3.3.8.2 - MC 1.7.10.jar (503 KB) for your game version.
Put it in the mods folder
The folder is inside .minecraft (Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\mods). If it does not exist, create it.
Launch the loader profile
Open “Mods” in the main menu: Carpenter's Blocks should be in the list.
Minecraft 1.7.10 runs on Java 8: with a different Java version the game may close right after launch.
