About the Lavablock modpack
Overview
You are a mage, imprisoned by your adversaries in the depths of the plane of fire, an endless expanse of lava. They thought you were dead. They were wrong. With the last of your power, you have created a small survivable space, a block of dirt, and one sapling. You pray it will be enough.
Will you escape from your dimensional prison, or shape it into your secret base? Will you confront those who imprisoned you? Will you become the most powerful sorcerer in existence? Or will the flames engulf you?
Only time will tell.

I have used Bisect Hosting to host my personal servers for years and have recently entered into an affiliate partnership with them for the official Lavablock server. If you are interested in hosting a Lavablock server, or a server for any Forge modpack, I can highly recommend their packages for great uptime, low latency, ease of use, and high quality support. You can use my affiliate code "HARMONY" or my direct link to receive 25% off the cost of your package and support the continued development of Lavablock and other modpacks.
How to install Lavablock
With Millida Launcher
Install Millida Launcher
The launcher is free: download it at millida.net/launcher and sign in with any nickname.
Click “Install” on this page
The launcher opens and installs the modpack for Minecraft 1.12.2 on Forge automatically.
Launch the game
A profile with it appears in the launcher: click “Play”.
Manually
Download the modpack archive
In the version list above, pick the file Lavablock-1.09.zip (709 KB).
Import it into a launcher
A launcher that supports modpacks (Millida Launcher, Prism) takes the archive via “Add modpack”, then “From file”. No need to unpack it yourself.
Allocate memory
Modpacks need more memory than the plain game: set 4–6 GB in the profile settings.
On a server
Use the “To server” button
On Millida Hosting, the button at the top of the page uploads the file to your server and restarts it for you.
Invite friends: they install the same modpack
To join the server, every player needs the same modpack version.
Minecraft 1.12.2 runs on Java 8: with a different Java version the game may close right after launch.
