Potato+

Potato+ is a lightweight Minecraft shader pack designed specifically for low-end and very low-end PCs.

Unlike many shader packs that heavily impact performance, Potato+ focuses on maintaining smooth gameplay while still improving the visual experience. It adds subtle enhancements to lighting, colors, and atmosphere without sacrificing FPS.

Installation von Potato+

With Millida Launcher

  1. Install Millida Launcher

The launcher is free: download it at millida.net/launcher and sign in with any nickname.

  2. Click “Install” on this page

The launcher opens and installs the shaders for Minecraft 1.21–1.21.11 automatically, together with its dependencies: Iris Shaders.

  3. Launch the game

A profile with it appears in the launcher: click “Play”.

Manually

  1. Install Iris or OptiFine

Without a shader mod the game cannot see shaders. Install it for the same Minecraft version.

  2. Download the shader archive

Pick the file PotatoShaderV2.zip (30 KB) and do not unpack it.

  3. Put it in the shaderpacks folder

“Options”, then “Video Settings”, then “Shader Packs”, then “Open Shader Pack Folder”, and drag the archive there.

  4. Select the shaders

In the same window, click the pack name and “Apply”.
