Oakworld is that very project where donations don't decide anything, there are no dupes or lag - just fair play. A bunch of well-thought-out mechanics will help and complicate survival, making it interesting and varied, there are no claims, a friendly community will help you in the game, the server is new, the online count is low, but I think that won't matter. There are many custom mechanics, armor upgrades, complex crafts, items, etc. - can't cover it all here, you'll be able to find out more on the server.
