Über das Galactica-Modpack
Galactica is a modpack for Minecraft 1.12.2 that brings together your favourite mods from Tekkit and other TechnicPack modpacks and throws them into the modern era, with an up-to-date collection there's hours of fun. We've even got a free to use, built-in multiplayer server so you can play with your friends in a safe, lag free environment without having to pay for hosting.

Galactica is the best Space and Tech modpack in the galaxy.
With Space, you can travel to the moon, mars and even make a space station (plus more!) using Galacticraft's rockets to explore the rugged landscape and setup a base on the planet. Watch out for the tunnels though, you'll never know what you might find.
With Tech you can create the factory of your dreams using BuildCraft, IndustrialCraft, ProjectRed and more. Mine out the landscape and pump blocks through an endless network of pipes and machines to become rich, rich, rich! Pump oil to turn into fuel for your rockets, program robots and screens. It's all possible with Galactica's tech.
Why not decorate your base to fit the theme you like? With BiblioCraft and Macaw's you can use loads of decoration blocks such as custom lights and fancy new furniture! Plus, with create custom slabs, stairs, signs, walls, and anything else with the saw to give your base a unique feel!

Play with Your Friends!
Sometimes it's better to play with friends on your own private server - no distractions and no unwanted players hanging around. We've got some amazing tools ready to get your server flying! Our 'server pack' is a pre-built, ready to go server package that can be downloaded on the right hand side of the screen.

You can also use the Essential mod to invite players to your world for free! This may be laggy on laptops or non-high-end PCs, we recommend using dedicated servers where possible.

Install Millida Launcher
The launcher is free: download it at millida.net/launcher and sign in with any nickname.
Click “Install” on this page
The launcher opens and installs the modpack for Minecraft 1.12.2 on Forge automatically.
Launch the game
A profile with it appears in the launcher: click “Play”.
Manually
Download the modpack archive
In the version list above, pick the file Galactica.zip (40 MB).
Import it into a launcher
A launcher that supports modpacks (Millida Launcher, Prism) takes the archive via “Add modpack”, then “From file”. No need to unpack it yourself.
Allocate memory
Modpacks need more memory than the plain game: set 4–6 GB in the profile settings.

Use the “To server” button
On Millida Hosting, the button at the top of the page uploads the file to your server and restarts it for you.
Invite friends: they install the same modpack
To join the server, every player needs the same modpack version.
Minecraft 1.12.2 runs on Java 8: with a different Java version the game may close right after launch.

Only Minecraft 1.12.2: there are no files for other versions.
Is Galactica for Forge or Fabric?
Only for Forge: 1.12.2.
Which Java does Galactica need?
Minecraft 1.12.2 runs on Java 8. If the game closes right after launch, the usual cause is the wrong Java version in the profile settings.
