Important info:
This RP does not contain any creepy/scary content or jumpscares. It only contains shader effects and only intends to just make the atmosphere more spooky feeling.
This RP does not work with optifine or sodium.
About the pack
Spook is a resource pack making use of core shaders to add a spooky vibe to the game, without having to use optifine/iris.
What this RP adds:
- Desaturated colour with red tint
- A red UI
- A dark, close fog around the player
- Slight effects to mobs with emissive eye rendering
Known issues:
- Items held are completely black on inventory preview
- Fog does not apply to sign text
- Entities ignore fog when further away from the player (more noticable in newer updates)
كيفية تثبيت Spook
With Millida Launcher
Install Millida Launcher
The launcher is free: download it at millida.net/launcher and sign in with any nickname.
Click “Install” on this page
The launcher opens and installs the shaders for Minecraft 1.20.5–1.21.1 automatically.
Launch the game
A profile with it appears in the launcher: click “Play”.
Manually
Install Iris or OptiFine
Without a shader mod the game cannot see shaders. Install it for the same Minecraft version.
Download the shader archive
Pick the file Spook.zip (42 KB) and do not unpack it.
Put it in the shaderpacks folder
“Options”, then “Video Settings”, then “Shader Packs”, then “Open Shader Pack Folder”, and drag the archive there.
Select the shaders
In the same window, click the pack name and “Apply”.
